Why Join UsMake an impact by helping schools better connect with students and families.Clear career path from SDR to Account Manager and beyond.Supportive remote culture with mentorship and training.Core ResponsibilitiesProactively identify and research prospective K12 districts and decision makers to generate new business opportunities.Conduct outbound cold calls, emails, and other outreach to engage prospects and introduce CatapultK12s solutions.Qualify leads by understanding district needs, challenges, and goals, and assess alignment with company offerings.Build relationships with prospects and schedule discovery meetings for RSMs.Manage inbound sales inquiries and ensure timely follow-up where needed.Collaborate with Marketing to execute outbound campaigns and provide feedback on messaging effectiveness.Track and manage all lead and pipeline activity using CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).Generate reports on prospecting activity, conversion rates, and pipeline development to support sales forecasting.Required Qualifications1+ years of experience in outbound sales development, business development, or a similar role.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.Proven ability to make cold calls, send effective prospecting emails, and manage outbound sequences.Comfortable researching organizations and identifying key decision makers.Familiarity with CRM tools and sales engagement platforms.Highly self-motivated, persistent, and goal-oriented.Preferred QualificationsExperience working in the K12 education, EdTech, or SaaS industry.Familiarity with HubSpot CRMTrack record of consistently meeting or exceeding outbound prospecting and pipeline generation goals.Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
