*Description:* Our customer is looking for a Backup Admin/Engineer to join their team of 4 others to help with ongoing support of their customers. They currently support 12 customers and have opened this role due to ongoing workload increase. This person is going to be responsible for handling tickets on a daily basis via Autotask and completing them from open to close. Documentation and communication are going to be critical in this role as this person is going to be working with external customers throughout the day and representing the organization in a professional manner. The ideal candidate is going to be signing into different customer environments through different methodologies so we are looking for someone who has an idea of general navigation through technologies such as Citrix, VPN, Horizon VDI, etc. They Don’t’ need to be experts but this person should know the basics of how things work. IE: if I say SQL server – don’t need to know how to execute commands just understand what it is. There will be some on call work involved in the role once this person converts to a full time employee. This will primarily reactionary, ticket-based work, customer has issue w/back up overnight. The team overnight will create ticket, this person will take ownership, work to completion, take additional tickets throughout day. *Skills:* Backup, Technical support, windows, Storage, Vmware, Emc, Netbackup, Cloud *Top Skills Details:* Backup,Technical support,windows *Additional Skills & Qualifications:* This position is primarily remote. They will expect this person to come on site for a lunch or training here and there.
