Job Overview Global Power Components, located in Milwaukee, WI, is looking for Entry Level to Skilled Industrial Painters and Powder Coaters on 2nd shift. Flexible hours with overtime available, but not required. Hourly wage is $18-$25+ based on experience and paint test results. Join our fast-growing team in the construction of large steel enclosures used in the power generation industry. Responsibilities Work your scheduled shift and be on time. Paint with 2-part polyurethane spray guns up to 65 PSI; automotive painting experience (25 PSI - 45 PSI) is a plus. Measure, compare and perform shop calculations to meet customer specifications. Maintain flexibility in day-to-day activities and assist with rush jobs as needed. Manufacturing environment involvement; troubleshoot and problem-solve; communicate effectively with others. Pass competency test and spray test; complete pre-employment physical including drug screen. Qualifications At least 1 year of experience with 2-part polyurethane spray gun painting up to 65 PSI. Experience with automotive painting (25 PSI - 45 PSI) is a plus. Able to measure, compare and perform shop calculations to meet specifications. Highly self-motivated with strong attention to detail and drive to succeed. Willing to stay late to complete rush jobs; manufacturing experience; able to troubleshoot. Must pass competency test, spray test, and pre-employment physical including drug screen.
