Forklift Mechanic / Technician Lift Truck Parts and Service, is a Family owned forklift business with excellent pay and benefits. We are growing and have an opening for a full shop forklift technician to perform maintenance and repairs on new and used forklifts. Job Duties

• Troubleshoot, Diagnose and repair LP propane, Electric forklifts of all makes and models
• Perform all assigned planned maintenance on rental and customer forklift trucks
• Perform pre delivery inspections on new equipment.
• Ensure all safety items on each forklift are properly maintained and functional
• Keep paperwork and proper records of each job
• Keep shop and yard clean.
• Tag all equipment coming into shop.
• Must have own tools to perform duties.
• Complete any other assigned tasks to contribute to effective operation of the service & repair department.

Experience:

• Previous automotive or equipment repair experience is preferred, but not required.
• Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
• Ability to follow established procedures and practices and read instruction
