Primary Purpose of Position:

Maintain & troubleshoot all plant equipment.

Provide technical expertise to maintenance craftsmen.

This position does the work of an Electronic Technician, but at a higher level with little direction or supervision.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist production flow restoration as necessary
• Monitor instruments & control devices for proper operation, plan & follow through with corrective actions
• Participate in root cause failure analysis as needed.
• Assist with selection of replacement parts.

Education:

• Certificates specific to electrical background. High School Diploma or GED

Experience:

• 7-10 year electrical/electronic experience preferred.
• Manufacturing experience in a production facility with a strong electrical background

Skills:

• PLCs
• VFDs
• Troubleshooting
• Ladder Logic
