About the Role We’re looking for a Security Consultant to join our Managed Security Services (MSS) team — a trusted advisor who combines technical expertise with a passion for helping clients stay secure, resilient, and ready for what’s next. In this role, you’ll assess risks, strengthen defenses, and deliver proactive guidance to improve each client’s security posture. You’ll work across cloud, network, and endpoint environments, bridging strategy and execution. What You’ll Do Serve as a key advisor for clients under Cortrucent’s Managed Security Services. Conduct full-spectrum risk assessments, security reviews, and improvement plans. Lead vulnerability management, incident response, and risk analysis initiatives. Support incident response, threat analysis, and vulnerability management. Implement and optimize security tools (SIEM, XDR, EDR, firewalls, M365, Azure). Develop client‑specific security roadmaps and compliance alignment plans. Partner with internal teams to deliver integrated IT + security solutions. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver integrated IT + security solutions. Present clear, actionable recommendations & reports to clients and leadership. What You Bring 3–7 years of experience in cybersecurity consulting or Managed Security Services operations. Broad understanding of all facets of security — including infrastructure, cloud, identity, and compliance. Strong understanding of network, endpoint, and cloud security. Experience with frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO 27001). Hands‑on with EDR/SIEM/XDR tools (Microsoft, SentinelOne, etc.). Excellent communication and client engagement skills. Preferred: Certifications: Security+, CISSP, CCSP, CISM, CEH, or Microsoft SC-200. Experience in Managed Security Provider or consulting environments.
