Job Description Step into a hands-on engineering role at a leading developer of advanced RF and microwave technologies for national defense. Your primary focus will be testing high-performance RF systems, particularly those leveraging Traveling Wave Tube (TWT) technology—crucial in radar, electronic warfare, and secure communication platforms. Responsibilities Design and implement RF testing protocols for TWT-based amplifiers and associated systems. Operate advanced test equipment such as network analyzers, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers to evaluate device performance. Analyze system-level RF behavior, identify signal anomalies, and support root cause investigations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including electrical, thermal, and mechanical engineers. Conduct compliance and performance testing under MIL-STD and other military specifications. Record and communicate test results to drive product refinement and reliability improvements. Essential Skills Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related discipline. 2+ years of experience in RF test engineering, preferably with high-power amplifier or microwave tube systems. Strong understanding of waveguide theory, impedance matching, and signal propagation. Familiarity with RF modeling and simulation tools such as MATLAB, LabVIEW, CST, and ADS. Excellent analytical and documentation skills. Must be eligible to obtain a DoD Security Clearance due to defense-related contracts. Additional Skills & Qualifications Outstanding attention to detail and a strong work ethic. Good command of high voltage electrical apparatus. Precautionary habits and work safety.
