Requires a Bachelors degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this PositionAs a Test Engineer Supporting the GD-MS Land & Air Systems Business the following Knowledge, Skills and Abilities will be required;
- Proficiencywith RF Test Equipment; Spectrum, Network and Phase Noise Analyzers, Signal Generators, etc
- Familiarity with Software used to Automate Testing for Mid to High Volume Production Radios
- Working Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
- Report and Use Metrics to Drive Continuous Improvement Activities
- Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
