Job Description

Sorensen Transport is seeking highly motivated candidates for full time employment in our fleet. Driving positions require the loading, unloading, and transportation of resins, fuels, chemicals and other hazardous materials to customer locations located in the PNW and Canada in a safe and efficient manner.

Regional drivers depart the Montana and North Idaho terminals and are out for 4 nights typically. Drivers average 55-60 hours weekly, with the option to work more. Opportunities to go home at night during the work week are possible but not guaranteed, depending on scheduling, routing and load requirements.

Day shift drivers depart the Montana terminal with weekly hours ranging from 40 to 70 hours. Weekends are required for classified day shift drivers.

2+ years’ experience with Class A CDL is preferred, but not required. Tanker, doubles/triples, and hazmat endorsement *are required *before full time employment can begin. Extensive orientation and training will be provided before time in the field is spent alone.

Drivers enjoy newer, well cared for Kenworth, Peterbilt, Western Star, Mack & Volvo trucks. Drivers are provided with cell phones to use with the Samsara ELD and camera systems.

*Requirements:*

- Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat, Doubles/Triples, Tanker Endorsement

- 2 years tractor/trailer experience or 1 year experience after completion of truck driving school, (preferred).

- High School Diploma or equivalent

- Ability to work maximum hours allowed under DOT hours of service regulations.

-Comfortable in winter driving conditions.

-Passport (preferred).

Pay: $75,000-$110,000 per year depending on number of hours worked and working availability.
