Part Time Medical Assistant / MA-C at Providence Health and Services summary:

The Part-Time Medical Assistant supports patient care teams in various clinics across multiple states, providing clinical support such as obtaining vital signs and administering injections. The role requires Washington Medical Assistant Certification, clinical training or experience, and Basic Life Support certification. At Providence Medical Group NW, our Medical Assistants are valuable members of the patient care team in our clinics. We currently have part-time roles available in the following departments and locations:

Required Qualifications:

  • Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification
  • Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants. Or
  • Coursework/Training: Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program. Or
  • Coursework/Training: Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces. Or
  • Coursework/Training: Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes the following clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration.
  • upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • 6 months Healthcare experience.
  • 6 months Medical Assistant experience

Salary Range by Location: WA Puget Sound: Min: $23.15; Max: $35.42
