Office Administrator / Executive Assistant
Location: Wall, NJ
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (In-Office Only)
Compensation: $42,000–$50,000 per year (based on experience)

Solar X is a fast-growing solar, electrical, and roofing company based in Wall, NJ, with over 15 years of experience in the home improvement and sustainable energy space. We’re seeking a motivated and reliable Office Administrator to support our ownership team and help manage day-to-day office operations.
This is a full-time, in-office role with no remote work currently available.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct administrative support to company ownership
Manage and maintain scheduling, calendars, and follow-ups for field teams
Assist with customer communications via phone, email, and in person
Organize office operations, digital files, and company records
Coordinate internal and external meetings, prepare documents, and take notes
Maintain and update contact lists for customers, vendors, and partners
Handle inbound service inquiries and assist with job tracking systems
Support permit, inspection, and project documentation workflows
Assist with billing, follow-ups, and document submissions when needed
Keep up-to-date with relevant solar, roofing, and electrical industry knowledge
Maintain a clean, professional, and organized office environment
Assit with marketing and events
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Previous experience in solar, roofing, electrical, or home improvement industry (preferred, but not required)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail and organizational abilities
Experience with tools like Google Workspace, Excel, CRMs, or scheduling software
Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn
Excellent customer service experience
