The position is defined as PRN, Varied 12 hr. shifts at Longview Rehabilitation Hospital, a state‑of‑the‑art 36‑bed inpatient acute rehabilitation facility located in Gregg County. Provide general nursing care such as patient positioning, lifting, turning, and use of assistive equipment. Assist with toileting using bedpans, urinals, commodes, or ambulation. Take and document vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, height, and blood pressure, as well as intake and output measurements. Assist in patient admission, transfer, and discharge, including handling personal belongings. Maintain a clean and comfortable patient environment. Respond promptly to patient call lights, telephone, and paging systems. Perform other related duties as assigned. What We’re Looking For Effective communication and teamwork skills required. Ability to prioritize patient needs in a fast‑paced care setting. Minimum six months of experience in an acute or long‑term care facility preferred. Certifications: CPR/BCLS certification required.
