LHH is hiring a Medical Data Entry Specialist for a growing Healthcare organization in Knoxville, TN ! The Medical Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for accurately entering and updating patient information into our electronic health records (EHR) system. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter patient information, medical histories, and treatment details into the EHR system.
• Verify and correct data discrepancies.
• Maintain and update patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely data entry.
• Generate reports and summaries from medical data as required.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to medical data management.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of patient information.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in medical data entry or a similar role.
• Proficiency in EHR systems and medical terminology.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance.
