Position: Breakfast Cook

Location: Sautee Nacoochee, GA 30571
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Based on Experience ($14.00 - $18.00/hourly)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented member to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure that our kitchen provides nutritious, safe, visually appealing, and properly flavored food. This role involves maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment for all guests and employees. Additional responsibilities include menu planning, food preparation, food service, and sanitation. Specific duties involve following standard recipes, maintaining proper food quality standards, and monitoring the dining room atmosphere. Responsibilities Tasks:
  • Sanitation: Follow all required sanitation practices and maintain a clean kitchen environment.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all property rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Quality Standards: Maintain quality standards for all menu items and plating of food.
  • Portion Sizes: Establish portion sizes and standards of service for all menu items.
  • Cost Control: Control food costs by using standardized recipes, managing the storage room, following product storage requirements, and adhering to waste control procedures.
  • Safety: Comply with all safety training related to lifting, carrying, hazardous materials, and follow procedures for all equipment, utensils, and machinery.
  • Stock Management: Monitor and maintain stock rotation schedules, refrigeration temperature control points, and other sanitary controls as needed.
  • Allergy Standards: Maintain strict food preparation standards when providing food items to guests with food allergies.
Required Skills Prerequisites:
  • Education: High school diploma or GED
  • Experience: A minimum of two years in another food preparation position is preferred but not necessarily required.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively to employees, dining room staff, and guests.
    • Ability to climb stairs.
    • Able to stand and move quickly for periods of up to 3 hours.
