Job Description
Green Road Animal Hospital, in University Hts, OH, is looking for a Veterinary Assistant. This position will be between 30-34 hours a week - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Prior veterinary experience is preferred.
The ideal candidate must be able to follow instruction, be caring and compassionate, a team player, adaptable, and be able to communicate clearly and multitask. The duties for this position are keeping animals clean and fed, cleaning surgical instruments, filling stock, holding animals for the Doctor and Technician, assisting with lab work (spinning blood down and filling out lab requisition forms), and helping out with reception when necessary. Cleaning is a large part of this position but is shared by all staff.
