We are one of the fastest growing brands in the consumer goods industry and are seeking an experienced Senior Packaging Designer to join our team. This role involves designing high-quality, market-leading packaging and managing the entire design process from concept through production. This is a hybrid role with three days onsite at our El Segundo location. Applications must include a portfolio; those without will not be considered. The role reports to the Design Director. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Design and develop product packaging for a wide range of products and collectibles from concept to production. Lead the creation of trend-right graphics aligned with brand objectives and strategic timelines. Oversee final photography and establish the visual look for licensed and original brands. Create and manage planograms for retailer presentations. Ensure line cohesion through complementary packaging scales and a unified brand design approach. Manage packaging timelines with key partners and project manage from concept to production, prioritizing multiple projects efficiently. Present products and lines to internal stakeholders, incorporating feedback effectively. Coordinate extensively with internal teams and external vendors throughout the design process. Develop cost-effective packaging designs in collaboration with structural engineers. Prepare presentation materials and conduct basic market research to identify core competitors. Stay updated on current trends to ensure designs remain innovative and competitive. SKILLS Strong organizational and project management skills. Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills. Creative ideation and conceptual skills. Motivated, proactive, and able to work independently. Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience designing for print, packaging, and 3D production. Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage multiple projects effectively. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Minimum of 5 years of consumer product design experience. BFA or equivalent degree in Industrial or Product Design. Salary starting at $90k.
