Superintendent - Data Center

Verrus are partnered with a leading contractor , looking for Superintendents to join their division in Columbus, OH .

We are seeking Superintendents ideally from a technical background to help deliver a Data Center Construction project in Columbus, OH . This is a unique opportunity to step into the fast-growing data center market without needing prior experience in this industry.

You can be located anywhere in the U.S. provided you can spend extended periods of time at the project location. Candidates based in and around Indianapolis or planning to relocate are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule, organize, and oversee activities of Electrical craft personnel .
• Resource Management: Direct craft and Assistant Superintendent activities.
• Project Planning and Strategy: Coordinate assigned work with the work of different crafts, company departments, or other contractors.
• Risk Management: Support Labor Relations in union communications, monitor craft adherence to safety protocols.
• Team Leadership: Coordinate with engineering, estimating, and planning.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' supervisory experience in facility construction, including technology, methods, equipment, tools, and procedures.
• Strong Electrical background with Data Center experience preferred.
• Experience managing Commercial or Industrial projects valued at $15M or more .
• Knowledge of construction scheduling and cost control, with proven ability to lead large teams.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and passport required; must be willing and able to travel (estimated 70%+).
• Relevant titles may include Construction Superintendent (civil), Structural Superintendent, Mechanical Superintendent, or Electrical Superintendent.
