Job Description

Spray Painter

Schedule: Monday Friday, 6:00 AM 2:30 PM. Overtime: Required as needed during weekdays and some Saturdays (MarchNovember may exceed 50 hours/week). Pay Rate: $22$24/hour (dependent on experience). Experience Required: Minimum 3 years of relevant hands-on spray painting experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply paint to letters, signage, numbers, and decorative items using a hand-held pneumatic spray gun
• Finish decor elements made of wood, metal, plastic, and foam with appropriate paint and primers
• Ensure proper surface preparation and select the correct products for each material
• Perform final quality checks before items leave the paint area
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including changing air filters and cleaning workspaces
• Clean and maintain spray equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Follow verbal and written instructions precisely
• Take on additional tasks as assigned by supervisors

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience using gravity-fed spray guns
• Familiarity with materials and processes related to signage and graphics preferred
• Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency
• Reliable and flexible with the ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed
• Excellent problem-solving and comprehension skills
• Open to constructive feedback and continuous improvement

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to regularly lift 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions
• Must wear appropriate PPE, including safety glasses at all times and a respirator as required
