The **Medical Assistant Supervisor** oversees and directs the daily activities of the Medical Assistant (MA) staff to ensure efficient patient flow, compliance with regulatory standards, and excellence in clinical service delivery.In collaboration with clinic leadership, this role provides both **direct and indirect patient care** within the defined scope of practice. As part of the management team, the supervisor is responsible for evaluating, coaching, and guiding staff performance to foster professional growth and maintain a culture of accountability and teamwork.***Responsibilities**** Works collaboratively with the **Clinic Manager** and members of the clinic management team to ensure efficient daily operations and consistent patient flow that meets productivity goals and quality standards.* Communicates effectively with providers, support staff, and leadership to evaluate and improve clinic processes for optimal efficiency and patient experience.* Provides direct supervision of clinical support staff, including scheduling, training, performance evaluations, coaching, and professional development.* Conducts and documents performance reviews, corrective actions, and regular feedback sessions as appropriate.* Facilitates monthly staff meetings in coordination with the **Health Center Manager**, ensuring meeting records (including sign-in sheets and notes) are accurately maintained and accessible.* Conducts or coordinates staff in-services and updates on new or revised clinical procedures, workflows, and documentation requirements.* Plans and implements **emergency preparedness activities**, including code and fire drills, in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.* Ensures compliance with all clinic, agency, and regulatory protocols related to infection control, safety, and quality assurance.* Maintains visibility in the clinical area to support staff, address workflow issues, and provide real-time feedback and guidance.* Participates in audits, inspections, and licensure activities as needed.**Qualifications*** High School Diploma or GED required.* Completion of an **Accredited Medical Assisting Program** required.* **CPR Certification** required and maintained in active status.* Minimum **3 years of Medical Assistant experience**, preferably in an ambulatory care setting.* Minimum **1 year of supervisory or management experience** preferred.* Experience with facility or program licensure, audits, or compliance processes a plus.**Anticipated salary range:**$75,600 - $118,690**Bonus eligible:**No**Benefits:** Cardinal Health offers a wide variety of benefits and programs to support health and well-being.* Medical, dental and vision coverage* Paid time off plan* Health savings account (HSA)* 401k savings plan* Access to wages before pay day with myFlexPay* Flexible spending accounts (FSAs)* Short- and long-term disability coverage* Work-Life resources* Paid parental leave* Healthy lifestyle programs**Application window anticipated to close:** 1/25/2025 \*if interested in opportunity, please submit application as soon as possible.The salary range listed is an estimate.
