Bachelor’s degree in Education, valid state Teaching license or certification, and 1+ years Teaching experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A high school Spanish teacher position is available for the uping school year in Washington Court House, OH. This contract role requires a passionate educator dedicated to fostering language skills and cultural appreciation among high school students. The position begins with teachers reporting on August 13th, and the first student day is August 15th. School hours run from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Spanish language curriculum aligned with state standards
• Deliver engaging lessons that promote speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills
• Assess and monitor student progress to guide instruction
• Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and cultural understanding
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional practices and student outes

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Spanish teaching certification for high school level
• Strong munication skills and ability to connect with diverse student populations
• Experience in lesson planning and classroom management
• Fluency in Spanish with a deep understanding of Hispanic cultures
