Job Description

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Information Science, or related degree
• 6+ years of programming experience
• Must understand the building blocks of SharePoint (IIS, ASP.NET, Virtual Directories, AD)
• An excellent understanding of what functionality SharePoint can provide, the types of configurations that's available, the limitations of the functionality, and what can be achieved via OOTB (Out of the Box) or customization
• Sufficient knowledge in capacity planning and performance monitoring
• Best Practice approaches in defining a strategy for SharePoint and other common tasks like migration, upgrades
• Expert level SharePoint Experience with SharePoint 2007 (MOSS), SharePoint 2010, or SharePoint 2013 in mid to large enterprise deployments using Microsoft best practices. In-depth knowledge of system design and architecture with the technologies and experience implementing a wide range of solutions
• Knowledge and understanding of networking protocols, web services (SOAP, WSDL), Security protocols (SSL/TLS), cloud and hosting solutions
• Knowledge REST based communications, RESTful software architectures
• Knowledge of VMware
• Possess successful team leadership qualities
• Industry certification as an expert preferred. (MCSE, MCSD, MCTS, MCITP)
