Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Lineman with deep experience in utility pole setting and aerial cable work. This role is for a senior-level professional who can operate independently, lead by example, and mentor less experienced team members. If you’ve set 45’–75’ poles and run aerial cable in demanding environments, this is your opportunity to take a leadership role in the field.

Responsibilities

• Safely set and secure utility poles (45’–75’ range) using appropriate equipment and rigging methods.
• Install, maintain, and repair aerial electrical and communication cable systems.
• Lead and train junior linemen, ensuring safe work practices and adherence to standards.
• Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks, and other line equipment as required.
• Interpret work orders, construction drawings, and safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the field with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on lineman experience with a focus on pole setting and aerial cable.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety practices, rigging, and pole climbing techniques.
• CDL (Class A or B) preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and physically demanding conditions.
• Proven leadership skills — able to teach, coach, and direct others on-site.
