Company Description

Five individuals captured in a historic 1910 photo went on to establish Kuker-Ranken, which opened its doors in 1924 and was officially incorporated in 1928. Since then, we have provided top-quality Architectural, Engineering, Construction, and Survey Equipment and Supplies to the precision industry. Founded by W.J. Ranken, Otto J. Kuker, Jack T. Ranken, and Harry G. Kimball, Kuker-Ranken started as a manufacturer of hand levels for contractors and surveyors in Renton, Washington. We later expanded to downtown Seattle’s 4th & Columbia, where we broadened our product line to include architectural and engineering supplies, finally settling at 818 John St.

In 1978, we became the area dealer for Wild Heerbrugg, now Leica Geosystems, enhancing our selection of high-quality survey instruments. In 2021, we further innovated by launching our UAV drone division to specialize in robotic systems. Our current Mountlake Terrace location was established in 1980, and we have since expanded with additional stores in Fife, Beaverton, Salt Lake City, and Las Vegas.

In 1977, Gary and Sandi Rousseau acquired Kuker-Ranken, running the business successfully for 28 years before it transitioned to Robert H. Lycke Jr., a committed employee who rose from shipping clerk to owner. Our dedicated Kuker-Ranken family is passionate about delivering a gold-standard, white-glove customer experience. With a team of industry experts ready to address software, hardware, workflow, and operational inquiries, we provide exceptional solutions and products.

As authorized dealers for leading brands such as Leica Geosystems, SitePro, RiteInTheRain, Hewlett-Packard, Oce’, and Dietzgen, we maintain a large inventory for fast shipping—same or next day delivery is available, along with UPS options for customers outside our area. Thank you for visiting KukerRanken.com, your trusted partner in precision industry solutions!
