Job Title: Sales Engineer

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Sales Engineer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering impactful, engaging demonstrations of our products to prospective clients, partners, and stakeholders. This role requires a deep understanding of our offerings, excellent communication skills, and the ability to tailor presentations to various audiences. The Sales Engineer will play a crucial role in showcasing the value of our solutions and driving customer acquisition and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Product Demonstrations:
    • Conduct live and virtual product demonstrations, showcasing the features, benefits, and value of our solutions in a compelling manner.
    • Customize demo content to address specific client needs, industry requirements, and use cases based on the Discovery performed by Account Executives and Account Managers
    • Utilize interactive and innovative methods to engage clients, ensuring memorable and impactful demos.
    • Provide real-time solutions and troubleshooting during demos to maintain seamless presentations.
  • Client Interaction:
    • understand client requirements, pain points, and business challenges to effectively position our products as the ideal solution.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and resource throughout the sales process.
    • Address client questions, concerns, and objections promptly, providing detailed and accurate information to facilitate decision-making.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the sales team to develop strategic approaches for client demonstrations and align on goals.
    • Coordinate with the product development team to stay updated on new features, enhancements, and product roadmaps, ensuring demos reflect the latest offerings.
    • Provide valuable feedback to marketing and product teams based on client interactions, demo experiences, and market trends.
  • Training and Development:
    • Continuously enhance knowledge of our products, industry trends, and competitive landscape to deliver relevant and up-to-date demos.
    • Train and mentor new team members on effective product demonstration techniques, tools, and best practices.
    • Participate in ongoing training sessions, workshops, and professional development opportunities to improve demo skills and product knowledge.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Set up, configure, and maintain demo environments, ensuring all necessary software, hardware, and tools are functioning correctly.
    • Troubleshoot technical issues during demos and provide immediate solutions to ensure uninterrupted presentations.
    • Maintain an in-depth understanding of competing products and technologies to effectively differentiate our solutions and highlight unique selling points.
 
  • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the technology or software industry.
    • This position will require travel to client sites for in-person demonstrations.
    • Proven track record of successful product demonstrations, client interactions, and sales support.
    • Experience working with sales teams, understanding the sales cycle, and contributing to sales strategies.
    • Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, both verbal and written.
    • Ability to manage stress and anxiety levels in complex and fast paced environments.
    • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn, understand, and demonstrate new software or products.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport, trust, and credibility with clients.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities.
    • Proficiency with demo tools and platforms (e.g., Zoom, WebEx,GoToMeeting), as well as CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
 
  • Preferred Qualifications :
    • Experience in a GovTech SaaS Demo
    • Familiarity with emerging technologies and trends within the software industry.
    • Basic to Intermediate understanding of software development, coding principles, and technical environments
