Summary:


This position is a member of a team of information technology professionals. The team focus relies on strong players willing to contribute to each project while focusing on achieving the goals and mission of the agency. This position will provide maintenance and support for Web- based Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tool. This position may also be involved in new development, maintenance and enhancements which would encompass testing, implementation, documentation, and support.
• Serve as the point of contact for state of Michigan's GRC tool, Lock Path by Navex Global and serve as the System Configurator for Security Accreditation/Risk Management process.
• Troubleshoot issues, seek solutions, and provide support where needed. Ensure solutions to issues have been determined, implemented, and resolved.
• Python programming experience and general database design knowledge is highly desirable.
• Work with other team members when tasks call for a cross-team solution.
• Learn and understand the client's business process.
• Maintain constant availability to the clients/customers (e.g., e-mail and telephone) during client working hours.
• Maintain and update system and project documentation.
• Implement new functionality, workflows, processes, and/or reporting in the GRC tool including configuration, and testing.
• Communicate with Navex Global regarding GRC software issues, maintenance, and any other software violations.
• Analyze GRC issues/incidents to identify root cause. Work closely with vendor's product support team to implement solutions where needed.
• Other duties as assigned.


Experience Qualifications
• Python programming experience and general database design knowledge
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
