Volt has recently partnered with Corteva! We are immediately hiring multiple contract Production Technicians at the Dahlgren, IL location!

As a Production Technician you will:

• Perform a variety of tasks associated with general plant operations throughout the season.
• Setting up and monitoring highly automated equipment for various processes such as harvest, conditioning, treating, and packing.
• Conditioning activities such as sizing, gravity operation, bagging, palletizing, etc.
• Return and rework activities
• Warehousing activities including forklift operation, collecting samples, pooling, etc.
• Various other duties as assigned by supervisor

This is a seasonal contract position
With an opportunity to be hired on at the end of the contract!

Multiple shift opportunities

The ideal candidate will have:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Some manufacturing/agriculture related experience preferred.
• Willing and able to work in a variety of areas (plant, warehouse)
• Willing and able to climb and/or work in elevated areas; standing and sitting for extended periods
• Willing and able to work both outdoors and indoors in hot, cold, wet and dry conditions
• Willing and able to lift up to 60 lbs. and complete work that involves repetitive motion and/or repetitive lifting
• Willingness and ability to work overtime hours if needed

Pay Rate: $17.50 - $18.50/hr.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
