As a Principal Biostatistician, you will be primarily responsible for supporting project teams in product development strategies and clinical study processes to ensure safety, effectiveness, and marketability. You will provide scientific and technical leadership across multiple ophthalmology projects, using scientific principles to drive problem-solving and innovation. This role will be on‑site at any of our locations: Fort Worth, Texas; Johns Creek, GA; Lake Forest, CA; or Belmont, CA. In this role, a typical day will include: Lead the scientific development and execution of statistical methodologies for multiple clinical projects, ensuring rigorous data analysis and regulatory compliance. Support the creation of product development plans by designing statistical strategies and guiding the development of study protocols, statistical analysis plans, and clinical trial designs. Oversee project‑level and study‑level statistical activities, including data analyses, regulatory filings, publications, and post‑marketing studies, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and scientific integrity. Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, including clinical development, regulatory affairs, and data management, to align statistical approaches with project objectives. Provide strategic guidance to statistical programmers, ensuring high‑quality data outputs that meet industry and regulatory standards. Drive process improvements and innovation in biostatistical methodologies to enhance efficiency and analytical robustness. Exercise independent judgment in complex statistical matters and contribute to strategic decision‑making in clinical development programs. All associates must adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training.
