The PeopleSoft Functional/Technical Consultant will work with the PeopleSoft Development and Human Resources teams to implement the Absence Management module and integrate it with the existing Payroll system. The consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting application solutions, analyzing requirements, and providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead the implementation of PeopleSoft Absence Management with Payroll integration.
- Design, develop, and support application solutions to meet client requirements.
- Analyze and design functional/technical solutions for PeopleSoft enhancements and continuous improvement.
- Translate end-user requirements into PeopleSoft-specific configurations and identify required customizations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
- Provide technical support in design, development, testing, and deployment of PeopleSoft applications.
- Implement change requests as per change management policies and procedures.
- Review and recommend improvements to current PeopleSoft processes.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager to develop project plans and determine resource requirements.
- Maintain project technical documentation for management review.
- Provide production support for PeopleSoft applications and resolve problem tickets in a timely manner.
- Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing support for business users.
- Work with the application development team to ensure technical solutions fit the business needs and overall architecture.
- Document defects identified during testing, work with application development teams to resolve them, and retest the defects until resolved.
- Provide overall process assistance to the PeopleSoft development team.
- Help prioritize defects to be fixed using an understanding of the business requirements and the needs of the customer.
