Pediatric Medical Assistant (Ophthalmology/Optometry) (No experience necessary, training program available)

Arizona Eye Consultants was founded in 2001 by Dr. Sean McCafferty. We are a Multi-specialty Ophthalmology/Optometry practice with eighteen providers. Our specialties include glaucoma, cataract, and pediatric specialty contact lenses. We have over 100 employees and five locations in Tucson. Travel is required between all locations. Communication and Patient Care
1. Acquaints all new patients with office procedures to which they will be exposed.
2. Informs patients of the purpose of all tests personally performed and how the patient will be affected during the tests.
3. Obtains patient history to include chief complaint, history of present illness, past history (ocular and general), family history (ocular and general), and history of allergies and medications.
4. Performs accurate and consistent documentation and measurement tasks to include:
