Occupational Therapist (OT) Job Description:

• Job Title: Occupational Therapist
• Location(s): Multiple schools throughout Phoenix, AZ
• Setting: School
• Schedule: Varies by school | Up to 40 hours per week
• Yearlong contract for the 24/25 school year

Occupational Therapist (OT) Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
• AZ Occupational Therapy license or Certification.
• 2+ years of relevant experience; experience in a school and/or pediatric setting(s) preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel to and from different sites.
• BLS/CPR Cert.

Occupational Therapist (OT) Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients by observing their movements, performing standardized tests, and listening to their concerns to establish an individualized plan of care.
• Competent care rendered to patients using exercises, stretching, equipment, modalities, and hands-on therapy to manage patients' pain, increase mobility, and prevent further pain and injury.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with patients and motivate them to reach their goals.
• Provide continuity of care by communicating pertinent patient information with the rehab team, physicians, and other disciplines as needed.
• Document all patient care in accordance with department policies.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; and adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.

Occupational Therapist (OT) Pay:

• $46-$50/hr. taxable (Depending on location)
• $1,840-$2,000 weekly Total on 40 hours.
• Weekly Direct Deposit
