About the Role:

As a Mold Maker at Stoelzle Glass USA, you will play a critical role in the production process by fabricating, and maintaining precision molds used to manufacture various products. Your expertise will ensure that molds meet exact specifications and quality standards, directly impacting the efficiency and quality of the manufacturing output. You will collaborate closely with engineers and production teams to troubleshoot mold issues and implement improvements that reduce downtime and enhance product consistency. This role demands a high level of technical skill and attention to detail to produce molds that withstand rigorous production cycles.

Requirements:

• Must be a Journeyman Mold Maker
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Hands-on experience with CNC machinery and manual machine tools.
• Strong understanding of mold materials, fabrication techniques, and quality control processes.
• Technical certification or vocational training in mold making, machining, or tool and die making.
• Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in manufacturing environments.
• Previous experience working in non-durable goods manufacturing or related industries.
• Ability to train and mentor junior mold makers or apprentices.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to create detailed mold designs.
• Operate and maintain mold-making machinery such as CNC machines, grinders, and lathes.
• Fabricate, assemble, and repair molds using various materials
• Conduct precision measurements and inspections to ensure molds meet quality and dimensional standards.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to identify and resolve mold-related issues promptly.
• Perform routine maintenance and adjustments to molds to optimize performance and extend tool life.
• Document mold specifications, maintenance activities, and modifications accurately.
