About the Role

As a CBRE Mobile Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining Customer Service centers in an industrial environment. This is a part of the Engineering and Technical Services Job Function. You will provide support, preventative maintenance on ice machines, walkin coolers, doc drawers, and HVAC equipment. The position includes a van, gas card, tablet, and tools, and requires a work schedule of 7:00am4:00pm.

What Youll Do

• Perform daytoday repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance.
• Review work orders, estimate time and materials, and order supplies.
• Use CMMS to manage work orders and track completion.
• Lead troubleshooting and repairs of building systems: plumbing, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop, HVAC/R.
• Inspect new installations for compliance with building codes and safety laws.
• Inspect building systems including fire alarms, HVAC/R, and plumbing to ensure operation within design specifications.
• Oversee and inspect work performed by outside contractors.
• Maintain building lighting system, including element and ballast repairs or replacements.
• Maintain grounds with raking, sweeping, leaf blowing or snow removal.
• Perform furniture assembly, locksmith tasks, welding and carpentry as needed.
• Respond quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
• Report and communicate daily all work activity via PDA device.

What Youll Need

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 45 years of jobrelated experience (or a combination of experience and education). Universal CFC certification and a valid drivers license are required. Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.
• Physical ability to stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs or ladders, and lift/carry heavy loads of 50lb. or more.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on analysis of multiple information sources.
• Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
• Indepth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
