Job Title : Medical Biller (In-Office)
Location : Aurora, CO (This is NOT a remote position)

Pay : From $21.00 per hour
Expected Hours : 40 per week
Overview :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced
Medical Biller to join our healthcare team in Aurora, CO. This is a full-time, in-office role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately submitting medical claims to insurance companies, ensuring timely reimbursement, and resolving any billing issues efficiently. Experience with infusion billing is a plus.
Key Responsibilities : - Charge entry, appeals, collections, and posting of payments
- Review and verify the accuracy of billing data, making necessary corrections to ensure compliance
- Prepare and submit clean claims to insurance companies electronically or by paper
- Follow up on unpaid claims within the billing cycle timeframe
- Utilize medical coding (ICD-9, ICD-10, DRG) to meet federal regulations and insurance requirements
- Address billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance policies and billing procedures
- Ensure compliance with medical billing practices and federal/state regulations
Required Skills & Qualifications : - Experience :
- 2+ years in medical billing and collections (Required)
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel (Required)
- Experience in Infusion Billing (Preferred)
- Technical Skills :
- Proficiency in ICD-10 , DRG , and ICD-9 coding systems
- Solid understanding of medical billing, terminology, and collection practices
- Communication :
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers
