Full Job Description  iMind is a outpatient mental health clinic (OMHC) and mobile crisis team (MCT) looking for counselors and social workers to provide mental health and mobile crisis services for children, adults and families. Qualified applicants must be willing to visit clients in their home, at the office, and/or telehealth. Additionally, must have a license LMSW, LGPC, LCPC, or LCSW-C, carry liability insurance, and have a passion for helping to improve the well-being of our community.

Duties and Responsibilities for OMHC Clinicians (carry a caseload of 25 to 35 clients)

Candidates MUST be comfortable seeing a wide age range of kids and/or adults who can be any age, flexibility is required.

• Performs duties under the clinical supervision of a fully licensed clinician.
• Meets weekly with clinical supervisor to review and discuss cases.
• Provides psychiatric/substance abuse consults to patients that present to the urgent care.
• Makes recommendations for the next level of care for patients in collaboration with Psych Nurse.
• Presents case to the Psych Nurse.
• Uses an integrated approach toward patient outcomes.
• Responsively answers calls display professional customer service skills, knowledge of resources, and referral processes.
• Communicates and collaborates consistently with the health care team members, patients, and families at all facilities to maximize patient outcomes.
• Delegates patient care activities to other health care team members appropriately.
• Ensures improvements in practice setting by assuming responsibility for self-development in lifelong learning.
• Recognizes behaviors that impact team function, and implements strategies to optimize teamwork.
• Facilitates and collaborates in the development and implementation of an educational plan for identified needs.

Duties and Responsibilities for Mobile Crisis Clinicians (do not carry a caseload)

• GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide community-based crisis intervention services to children, adolescents, adults and their families with behavioral and emotional concerns. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Mobile Crisis Team - Director
• Adhere to all federal and state regulations and all Agency policies and procedures.
• SPECIFIC DUTIES
• Work as a part of the team to provide crisis intervention and stabilization services within the community, which includes days, evenings, holidays and weekends
• Complete all Agency, State and County forms
• Facilitate appropriate referrals as clinically indicated to internal resources, as well as, to external resources
• Attend all MCT clinical and quarterly meetings
• Contact Supervisor and utilize supervision to address assessments crises, problematic cases, general case reporting, need for special services, and need for resource information
