Position Overview

The Lean Six Sigma Black Belt leads strategic projects sponsored by senior leadership across the organization and its affiliates, applying Six Sigma, Lean, and Continuous Improvement (CI) methodologies to drive change management, business process improvement, and process reengineering. With full support from business leaders, this role serves as a key agent of change, guiding cross-functional teams, leveraging project management techniques, and delivering measurable results. By partnering with business leaders, the Black Belt works on a wide range of initiatives that enhance capabilities, improve operations, and enable long-term organizational success.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:

• Applies Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement principles to identify opportunities, define and justify projects, launch teams, manage activities, track progress, measure results, remove barriers, and train team members.
• Leads and motivates cross-functional teams to plan and implement product and process improvements using Lean Six Sigma methodologies. Documents workflows with process maps, policies, procedures, and work instructions to ensure improvements are sustained and replicated.
• Supports efforts to eliminate waste, reduce costs, and increase throughput to enable business growth.
• Enhances internal and external customer experiences by building a strong foundation for continuous improvement across the organization.
• Promotes employee awareness of tools and processes that improve products, services, and customer outcomes. Drives a culture of learning, sharing best practices, and embracing Lean Six Sigma principles.
• Champions change by fostering a culture of accountability where every employee contributes to eliminating waste and improving the customer experience.
• Collaborates with leadership to identify key challenges and gaps, building a robust pipeline of process improvement and waste reduction initiatives aligned with strategic goals.
• Performs other duties as assigned to support business needs.
