We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Entry Level Accountant to join our team on a contract basis. Responsibilities:
• Process and manage accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
• Perform bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
• Reconcile accounts to ensure all financial data is up-to-date and accurate.
• Assist with managing accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections.
• Prepare and record journal entries in compliance with accounting standards.
• Support the team in month-end and year-end financial close processes.
• Review financial documents to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
• Maintain organized and thorough financial records for audits and reporting.
• Provide support for various accounting projects and tasks as needed.• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting principles.
• Proficiency in performing bank and account reconciliations.
• Familiarity with accounting software and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Prior internship or entry-level experience in accounting is a plus.
