IT Manager | Norton Shores, MI

Salary Range: $97,000 - $144,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain IT and Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure, including networks, servers, and shop floor systems.
• Ensure the reliable operation and security of manufacturing execution systems (MES), ERP, SCADA, and other production-critical applications.
• Develop and implement IT strategies that align with manufacturing objectives, driving efficiency and digital transformation initiatives.
• Oversee IT cybersecurity measures for both corporate and production environments to protect sensitive data and operational integrity.
• Provide technical support and problem resolution for all IT-related issues impacting manufacturing operations, minimizing downtime.
• Manage IT vendor relationships, contracts, and procurement for hardware, software, and services relevant to manufacturing.
• Lead IT projects, including system upgrades, new technology deployments, and infrastructure improvements specifically for the manufacturing plant.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience leading IT operations and teams within a manufacturing environment.
• Expertise in manufacturing-specific ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and their integration with operational technology (OT).
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles applied to industrial control systems (ICS) and OT environments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex IT projects, including system implementations and infrastructure upgrades.
• Experience in developing and executing IT strategies that support manufacturing efficiency and business goals.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or SCADA.
• Knowledge of Industry 4.0, Industrial IoT (IIoT), or automation technologies.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience with cybersecurity for Operational Technology (OT) environments.
