IT Manager | Coopersville, MI

Salary Range: $98,000 - $145,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the high availability, security, and performance of IT and OT systems critical to manufacturing operations.
• Lead the implementation and maintenance of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), SCADA, and other production software.
• Develop and enforce robust cybersecurity strategies for both corporate IT and operational technology (OT) environments.
• Manage IT infrastructure, network architecture, and end-user support across all production facilities.
• Drive digital transformation initiatives, leveraging data analytics to optimize manufacturing processes and efficiency.
• Oversee IT vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements for manufacturing-specific solutions.
• Ensure IT systems and processes adhere to industry regulations, quality standards, and internal compliance requirements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience managing IT infrastructure and operations in a manufacturing environment.
• Expertise with manufacturing-specific systems such as ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle), MES, or SCADA.
• Strong understanding of IT/OT convergence, industrial cybersecurity, and operational technology (OT) support.
• Demonstrated ability to lead IT projects, manage budgets, and optimize IT service delivery to support production goals.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively partner with production, engineering, and executive teams.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Operational Technology (OT) and IT convergence, including SCADA, MES, or PLC systems.
• Familiarity with ERP modules relevant to manufacturing operations (e.g., SAP PP/MM).
• Understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts, such as IoT or predictive analytics, within a production environment.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for industrial control systems (ICS) and OT networks.
• Demonstrated ability to manage IT projects that directly support manufacturing production or quality initiatives.
