Indian River Marina Nightwatch Position Job posted by State of Delaware. This seasonal/casual role involves night patrols of docks, parking lots, bath house facilities and surrounding areas. The Night Watchman logs vehicles, records unusual events, ensures security of the marina office, cottages and surrounding area, assists tenants, collects revenue for transient slip holders, performs custodial services for the dock and provides excellent customer service. Responsibilities Patrol docks, parking lots, bath house facilities and surrounding area, both indoors and outdoors. Log vehicles and unusual events. Maintain security of the marina office, cottages and surrounding area. Assist tenants with any problems within the cottages. Collect revenue for transient slip holders. Perform custodial services for the dock. Provide excellent customer service and park information to visitors. Work weekends, evenings and holidays as scheduled; must be willing to work around boats and water. Essential Functions May perform vehicle and foot patrol of assigned area. May collect appropriate fees for fuel sales. May perform custodial services for the dock. Provide excellent customer service and park information to visitors. Must demonstrate responsibility, dependability and good communication skills. Must be able to work independently. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age. Provides check‑in services for cottage patrons. Performs vehicle and foot patrol of assigned area(s), with long periods of standing time.
