To maintain a clean, healthy environment for visitors and staff that promotes good mental and physical health in pleasant surroundings free of litter, germs and debris.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Clean apartments, public areas including restrooms, elevators, stairways, offices, pool area, changing rooms and other designated areas in & out of the building.
• Dust all furniture, lamps, TV, pictures, window edges, blinds, and air conditioner vents.
• Polish & scrub showers, sinks, mirrors and other fixtures.
• Keep the facility clean and free of hazards at all times.
• Transport trash to designated areas.
• Ensure that equipment and work areas are clean and orderly at all times.
• Wash personal clothing required for resident.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of housekeeping experience in a hotel or healthcare setting.
• A high school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to communicate in English. Spanish preferred.

The Ideal Candidate

• Responsible, always on time, resourceful, very accurate and detail-oriented.
• Flexible as to work schedule. Must be available to work on weekends, holidays and in emergency situations.
• Must be able to work under pressure and multi-task.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently AND as a team member.
• Demonstrate good verbal communications, interpersonal skills and empathetic listening.
