Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our team in maintaining a unique commercial facility located within a cave environment. This role involves a wide range of hands-on responsibilities supporting of general building operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance tasks (carpentry, drywall, etc.)
- Conduct inspections, troubleshoot issues, and complete repairs in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and functional work environment across facility zones
- Support occasional equipment moves and physical labor when needed
- Communicate and coordinate with vendors or outside technicians as required
- Conduct regular inspections of facility areas to identify safety hazards or maintenance needs
- Repair and maintain lighting systems, outlets, switches, and low-voltage components
-Install and repair fixtures, shelving, signage, or minor equipment as needed- Keep accurate records of maintenance performed and materials used
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company policies
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in general maintenance or handyman work (commercial setting preferred)
- Proficiency in using tools and performing basic electrical and plumbing tasks
- Comfort working in enclosed, damp, and non-traditional physical spaces
- Strong time management and ability to prioritize work independently
- Physical ability to lift, climb, crawl, and work in confined or uneven spaces
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10 (or willingness to complete) preferred
