Overview We are looking for a highly skilled Global Supply Chain Analyst to create and execute the tactical and operational buying strategy of logistic services related to Returnable Packaging/Reverse Logistics. This role involves qualification, selection and contracting of transportation and logistics services supporting automotive, service, and energy business areas. Deep knowledge of the industry, relationship building and experience negotiating contracts for collection, consolidation, storage, transloading and other logistics services is required. The role is part of the Supply Chain Organization and supports strategies to provide optimal supply assurance, pricing, flexibility, quality and delivery performance. The Analyst builds relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders to meet cost, quality and delivery targets. Tesla operates in a fast-moving, dynamic environment where flexibility and adaptability are essential. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with expertise in Logistics & Sourcing. What You\'ll Do Owner of RFIs, RFPs and RFQs — ensuring all commercial terms are agreed and documented Ensure NDA, SOWs and Master Purchase Agreements are in place before business is initiated Drive price negotiation processes to ensure Tesla’s commodity pricing is best in class Maintain productive global transportation and ancillary service contracts Drive continual cost reduction and avoidance initiatives through strategic price negotiations Address all areas of category management including category business plans, global market and pricing analysis and procurement support Lead purchasing activities with internal stakeholders: Finance, Logistics Operations, Production, and Engineering; develop bid specifications, identify potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, vet suppliers, prepare bid-recaps, and make sourcing recommendations What You\'ll Bring Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering or Chemistry and/or equivalent experience or evidence of exceptional ability Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment 3+ years of related experience in vendor/carrier management in a Supply Chain Project-related experience in Special Logistic Equipment Services Track record in planning, execution and delivery of projects Knowledge of purchasing processes (SOPs, RFP/RFQ/RFI\'s, PO\'s, etc.) Benefits and Compensation Compensation and Benefits: along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire: Aetna PPO and HSA plans with two medical plan options and $0 payroll deduction Family-building, fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefits Dental and vision plans, with $0 paycheck contribution Company-paid HSA contribution when enrolled in the HDHP with HSA Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) 401(k) with employer match, Employee Stock Purchase Plans, and other financial benefits Company-paid life, AD&D, short-term and long-term disability insurance Employee Assistance Program Sick and vacation time, flexible time for salary positions, and paid holidays Back-up childcare and parenting resources Voluntary benefits (critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, theft & legal services, pet insurance) Weight loss and tobacco cessation programs Tesla Babies program Commuter benefits Employee discounts and perks program Expected Compensation: $60,000 - $132,000 annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits Pay offered may vary based on location, knowledge, skills and experience.
