Job Description – Genetic Counselor II (250002W4) Overview Genetic Counselor II will provide genetic counseling services to patients through CNMC on site or at designated outreach centers. Responsibilities include obtaining medical and family histories, reviewing pertinent medical records, counseling families regarding diagnosis, medical findings, natural history, inheritance patterns, and writing counseling letters when indicated. Involvement in student supervision and promotion of genetic disease awareness. Also triage questions from administrative staff, outside hospitals, and physicians.
