Project Description

The role involves developing and maintaining full-stack web applications, implementing scalable, efficient, and secure solutions using Node.js, React, AWS, and serverless technologies. You will play a key role in building APIs, ensuring system reliability, performance, and maintainability, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the company's platform.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using TypeScript, ensuring seamless front-end (React) and back-end (Node.js, AWS, serverless) integration;
• Design, build, and implement scalable APIs and web services using AWS and serverless technologies;
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define and implement technical solutions;
• Ensure application performance, security, and responsiveness, optimizing serverless architectures for efficiency;
• Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure software quality and prevent regressions;
• Perform code reviews, ensuring best practices in coding style, testability, and efficiency;
• Contribute to technical documentation and update content based on product improvements and user feedback;
• Track, troubleshoot, and resolve production and system issues, analyzing their root causes and impact on service operations;
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership within the team;

Job Requirements

• Proficiency in React and Node.js for full-stack development;
• 5+ years of experience in front-end web development;
• 3+ years of experience working with AWS and serverless technologies (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, etc.);
• 3+ years of experience in back-end development;
• Strong knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL, with experience in ORM tools;
• Proven ability to build and maintain scalable, high-performing applications;
• Experience working in agile and cross-functional development teams;
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment;
• Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring junior developers;
• English proficiency from B2 for effective communication in an international team;

Nice To Have

• Experience with financial or accounting systems and data processing;
• Familiarity with payment platform integrations and financial compliance requirements;
• Comfortable using GenAI tools to assist in development activities;
• Background in higher educational software, digital publishing, or EdTech;
