GENERAL SUMMARY :
This person is to load and unload product using a fork truck into various types of trucks and trailers. They are to fill out any paperwork, check in or out shipments, perform inventory on a monthly basis, calculate and pull case goods. They will also be required to perform forklift inspections daily, work in a safe manner and complete any other duties assigned by management and or team leaders. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

• Knowing how to read the bill of ladings and load logs
• Loading the proper product.
• Filling all of the paperwork out correctly (this includes matching purchase orders, receiving's, and placing these papers in the proper boxes).
• Placing all safety devices (wheel chocks, safety chains, loading plates etc.) on the trailers that they are working on.
• Maintain a professional work attitude with the truck drivers that come in the facility and with the office personnel.
• Keep yard clean and organized.
• Drive safely at all times.
• Any other duties assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES :

• Must be able to use time wisely
• Must be able to communicate well both written and verbal.
• Must be safe in all aspects of duties
• Must be a team player.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years' experience in field a plus.
• Computer knowledge a plus

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS :

• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Knowledge of forklift operations.
