Vaco is seeking a fixed assets accountant in Tempe, Arizona!

Responsibilities include:

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts, ensure proper coding/expensing, and resolve discrepancies.
• Record period-end accruals and reversals for assigned accounts as needed.
• Monitor P&L for accurate expense postings; resolve discrepancies.
• Review AP and journal entries before check runs for accurate coding.
• Conduct variance analysis and highlight financial trends or irregularities for leadership insight.

• Ensure CIP & FA and minor equipment are coded correctly with appropriate details

 
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Required)
• 2+ years of full cycle accounting experience with an emphasis on fixed assets (Required)
• Experience in advanced Excel (required) and Microsoft Dynamics (preferred)
• CPA or CPA candidate (preferred)
• Salary $62-68k
