About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director to lead its mission of advancing educational equity and social justice for the Latine community. The successful candidate will be a visionary and collaborative leader, with a deep commitment to equity and a proven track record in strategic planning, fundraising, and organizational management. This role is pivotal in guiding the organization through its next phase of growth, building on a strong foundation of trust, partnerships, and community-centered programs. The Executive Director will be responsible for overseeing program design and evaluation, ensuring that the organization's work is responsive to the needs of the community and aligned with its strategic goals. They will also serve as the primary external voice, representing the organization in public forums, and advocating for the inclusion of Latine voices and experiences in educational systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the local policy and philanthropic ecosystem, as well as the Latine education landscape. They should be adept at fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and equity, and be skilled in mentoring and empowering a diverse team. Key responsibilities include leading and expanding diverse revenue streams, managing the organization's budget, and partnering with the Board of Directors to set strategic priorities. The Executive Director must be a skilled communicator, with the ability to build partnerships across various sectors, and be committed to amplifying Latine voices in statewide education conversations. A values-driven, culturally fluent, and emotionally intelligent leader, who is both strategic and decisive, is essential for this role.
