The Champlain Valley School District seeks a highly organized, detail-oriented Educational Leadership Project Coordinator to support district-wide curriculum, instruction, assessment, and professional learning initiatives. This role involves coordinating complex projects, managing data and financial processes, supporting grants compliance, and producing high-quality communications. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment, and brings excellent systems thinking, customer service, and follow-through to a leadership team that depends on accurate information and strong operational support.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate systems and operations for district curriculum, instruction, assessment, and professional learning initiatives, including file management, communications, and website updates.
- Manage logistics for district professional development programs (in-service days, summer institutes, workshops), including scheduling, materials, presenter contracts, registration, vendor coordination, and event support.
- Support federal and private grant programs (Title I-IV and others) through fiscal tracking, procurement processes, documentation, compliance monitoring, and reporting.
- Organize, maintain, and visualize data from multiple platforms to support district decision-making.
- Track, process, and monitor financial transactions, requisitions, and expenditures using district systems.
- Draft, revise, and organize curriculum documents, reports, communications, and presentations.
- Provide backup support to additional central office teams as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong command of Google Workspace and spreadsheet tools, including data organization, formulas, and visualizations.
- Excellent writing, editing, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects with accuracy, timeline awareness, and strong problem-solving.
- Experience in educational, nonprofit, or project-based environments preferred.
- Ability to work independently while contributing meaningfully to a collaborative leadership team.
