Job Description Driver's Helper Automation Personnel Services is looking for a
Driver's Helper for a company based in Pelham, AL. In this role, you will be helping to load and unload windows and doors for delivery to job sites.
Pay Rate $18.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours Monday through Friday, 7:30am - 3:30pm (38hrs a week)
Driver's Helper- Duties and Responsibilities • Assist in loading and unloading windows, doors, and supplies from delivery vehicles.
• Ensure products are handled safely to prevent damage.
• Help navigate routes and provide directions to the driver as needed.
• Deliver products to customers and obtain signatures for proof of delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, dispatchers, and customers.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Driver's Helper- Qualifications and Requirements - Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 75 lbs).
- Previous experience in delivery, warehousing, or construction preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing schedules.
- Must be dependable and punctual.
- Clean MVR
- Background and drug screening required
Work Environment: - Frequent lifting, bending, and standing.
- Exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
- May work in multi-temperature environments (warehouse, truck, job sites).
Job Type Full-time: Temporary to Hire
