POSITION SPECIFICS

Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics Golf Courses is seeking a Director of Golf Instruction.

Responsibilities include:

• Design implement and oversee all golf instruction programs tailored to all skill levels (private lessons group clinics junior programs etc.)
• Promote instructional programs through social media email marketing website content and community events.
• Provide a high standard of customer service to all students and facility patrons.
• Act as a golf club-fitting specialist and work with our vendors to properly custom-fit our guests.
• Assist with the Golf Shop counter point of sale operation when needed.
• Assist with merchandise orders displays and overall sales.
• Assist with tournaments leagues and events when needed.

MINIMUM EDUCATION WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS

Bachelors Degree 1 years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted Required Certifications: None

BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES

This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid drivers license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.

SALARY & BENEFITS

The salary range for this position including all possible grades is $38300.00 - $55500.00.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988 Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR).
